Algebra 1Hi Algebra 1 students! Algebra 1 is designed to build on algebraic and geometric concepts. Throughout the course, Common Core standards are taught and reinforced as the student learns how to apply the concepts in real-life situations. Students will be exploring the fundamental building blocks of mathematics in Algebra 1 by learning how to solve basic equations, how to graph functions, and how to apply mathematics to real-world scenarios. Essential Learning Outcomes: 1A. Solve multi-step linear equations. 2A. Create basic linear equations for real-life applications. 1B. Perform basic operations with properties of exponents 2B. Graph linear equations 3B. Interpret linear functions by identifying elements of their graphs. 4B. Solve systems of linear equations algebraically. 1C. Draw conclusions from data sets to make predictions. 1D. Distinguish between linear functions and exponential functions. 2D. Create basic exponential equations for real-life applications. 1E. Solve basic quadratic equations algebraically. Your Syllabus How to access your book:
